The Cherokee Print League Holiday Sale is a mile-long event that celebrates the art of printmaking in the Benton Park West Cherokee Street neighborhood. For the 4th Annual Holiday Sale on December 3rd, 2011, print shops, galleries, and other small businesses along the street hosted over 40 local and regional vendors. The sale featured a street passport for patrons to get stamped by each vendor as a souvenir and record of their experience. Plus, it encouraged interaction between the public and the vendors. The Holiday Sale focuses on buying local and encourages many visitors to explore the Cherokee Street neighborhood.
Becca Moore was the event coordinator for the 2011 sale, promoting the sale region-wide, organizing logistics, and bringing together the vendors and venues for the day.
