Healthy PAGE Project

The Healthy PAGE (Policies and Actions Guided by Evidence) Project takes in feedback generated from community discussions to inform developers of which amenities are most valued by the community in Pagedale, MO. Part of the Page Avenue Health Impact Assessment gauged residents’ responses to specific design implementations.

At the Prevention Research Center-St. Louis, Bennett Gale created this proposal, his design work in collaboration with Megan Roy and Kimberly Newcomber and under the supervision of Cristina Garmendia.

Tara Pham also worked at the PRC-STL, helping design and execute the Study of Health in Families in Transition (SHIFT) and Measuring the Association between Place and Physical Activity (MAPPA) studies over two years, under the supervision of Ross Brownson, Christine Hoehner, and Cheryl Carnoske. These studies examined the effect of the built environment on population health.
