The Cherokee School brings intellectual interaction into people’s daily lives and makes recreational and/or professional learning accessible. Through classes and gatherings, it unites thinkers who want to improve themselves and connect with others. The Cherokee School is just the conduit: All classes are designed, taught, and attended by real St. Louisans, cultivating and nourishing the roots of the community. Pilot venues for classes and gatherings will be on Cherokee Street in the Benton Park West neighborhood of South St. Louis.
Tara Pham and Zoë Scharf will launch the school in Fall 2013.
