Urban Exploration is an ongoing bar crawl series that promotes lesser-known, up-and-coming St. Louis neighborhoods to Eleven readers. The UrbEx events coordinate multiple independently owned businesses to offer drink and food specials and to attract pedestrian traffic. They offer an opportunity for young people to meet and to network in a fun, casual setting while bringing the neighborhoods new business. Readers have described UrbEx as “the most fun [they]‘ve ever had in STL, thanks to Eleven Magazine!!!”

Brain Drain members have organized, promoted, and – most importantly! – attended the UrbEx events.
